As many of you know, Mistress Pagan Graeme, OP, and her husband, Lord Odbald Leofa (Yolanda Graham and Maurice Kelliher), are facing a grave medical crisis. Even worse, their insurance will only cover part of their expenses.
To help Mistress Pagan and Lord Odbald, there will be a raffle for a full size bed quilt at Bergental/BBM Yule on December 4, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to their medical bills. The quilt will be based on the 14th century patchwork wallhangings in the frescoes in the Palazzo Davanzati, some of the very earliest evidence for patchwork in Europe. A team of Pagan and Odbald's friends under the direction of Mistress Sarah Davies (Lisa Evans) and Lady Sarah Langetoft (Sarah Strong) will make the quilt from 100% cotton fabrics and warm, easy-care Thermolam batting in the winner's choice of three colors.
Tickets are $1 apiece, six for $5. Tickets will be available for purchase at the troll booth at Yule, at selected upcoming Eastern events, and by mail*. The drawing will take place at Bergental/BBM Yule on December 4, so time is short! The more tickets you buy, the better chance you'll own a gorgeous quilt, and the more you'll help a friend in need!
