It SHOULD be. And it shows just how little progress women have made, at least in the eyes of some:

Urgh. How about appealing to frequenters of the site Remus had favourited in 'The Way of the World'? (Not the cooking one!)

"At the site, visitors can view pictures of the Clintons as they gaze into each other's eyes on their wedding day in 1975; they can see Paul and his wife dancing at their reception in 1957 as well as catch a vintage photograph of Huckabee, an 18-year-old groom dressed to impress in a powder-blue suit."

Just what I needed to make up my mind this election season...

*eyeroll*

The more things change the more things stay the same.

It may seem like women have made little progress, but then I watch something like Mad Men and remember how things used to be.

Oh, that is a GREAT show! I love it! I can't help but wonder if it's a bit contrived though...was *everyone* that bad in 1960? And the wife...it's just like "The Feminine Mystique"...a little *too* much like it, if ya get my drift.

Oh geeze. On one hand...yes! Encourage people...especially young people and especially women to vote...good!

OTOH...Let's encourage them to vote for fluff reasons and not real issues, and so comforting that the way to capture the attention of the mothers of our next generation is by linking from sites that reward you for "catching yer man".
