We got about three inches of snow, none of which turned into rain as promised. It's going to be a nice, cold night, and even though "I'm Dreaming of a White Thanksgiving" doesn't exactly scan, I'm almost hoping that the snow stays until Thursday. We used to get snow for Thanksgiving at the Farm up in Venango County when I was a kid, and I miss it.
Now, if only the morons in the Easthampton, Northampton, and state DPWs had realized that no, it wasn't flurries, and yes, it probably *was* time to send out the sand trucks for the morning commute....
And yes, Sapphy handled just fine in the snow. Better than the old car, which was so out of alignment that I had to fight to keep control whenever the roads were bad. :D
