First, Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate. May your menorah never go out, and may all your latkes be crispy!


And second - I got my official galley proofs from Boydell & Brewer today. I have until January 7 to make corrections and send them back to Robin Netherton.

Kind of starchy in the middle usually - I've never really mastered the thin-and-crispy ones!

Are galley proofs still real strips of paper that slide off the table, or are they electronic nowadays?

Modern galleys are sent electronically as Adobe files, but must be printed out, marked in blue ink, and returned to one's editor.

Too bad about the latkes :(
