I was fully intending to go to church today, until I got up, stuck my head out the front door, and saw that there was at least another 6" down and no sign of the plows. I went back to bed for a couple of hours, got up, and spent half an hour cleaning the driveway, shoveling the front steps, and getting what looked like about 8" of snow off Sapphy.
I am now digesting lunch and praying I don't have to go out and do the driveway *again* before the plows come through. In most ways the Toro is far superior to the heavy, clumsy, never-worked-right snowblower, but the amount of junk the DPW leaves in the bottom of the driveway will be too much for it, I'm afraid.
