The worst pain I felt during the root canal was when my dentist injected the lidocaine. Seriously. I didn't feel a thing. A temporary filling is in place, to be supplemented by a more durable temporary filling just before I leave for Italy. We'll do the serious work on getting me a crown in February and March.
But if anyone in Western Massachusetts needs a painless dentist, let me know. I am *seriously* impressed.
