For the roof? You could get them in a year or so, but the real benefit of these panels is for commercial scale operations, since on your roof, there is a lot of overhead for installation and infrastructure that a larger scale operation can do more cheaply per Watt.

The day is not far off however before these things can be installed cheaply with standardized mass-produced support components.

This is darn cool. In a way, I'm glad gas costs are going higher. It's encouraging business development of alternative energy sources like this.
