Shameless plugging, and a fine party

First, the shameless plug: Medieval Clothing and Textiles 4 will be out in April. Anyone with an interest in medieval headcoverings should be particularly interested, whether or not you also like old quilts.

Also, had a small party today in honor of xrian's visit to Massachusetts. helwen, fitzw, harpnfiddle, Lady H, Mistress C, and Una all came over, and we had a fine time discussing knitting, SCA history, Druidism, and many other things. Pizza was had, socks were knitted and displayed, and much fun was had by all.

Also, Malfoy-the-cat entertained Lady H and young William by taking The Big Dive off the bannister to the foyer below, then skittering downstairs. He's too much!

Yes, it was fun. One of those Very 21st-Century Things: meeting several people I'd previously known only online. You are all just as pleasant and witty and amusing in person (just in case you wondered)!
