Today is Super Tuesday

And I voted for Barack Obama. I really, really wished that I could have voted for Hillary Clinton, but after I read this article in Mother Jones, I simply couldn't. There's too much Dominionist/Religious Right in Washington as it is without them having a potential Democratic President in their Bible study groups. I also have no desire to see a revival of Whitewater, the Arkansas Project, or all of the other baggage that anyone named "Clinton" will bring to the White House unless Richard Mellon Scaife and all his minions suddenly drop dead and take the Washington Times and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review with them.

She's been a decent Senator, and I will vote for her in the fall if she wins the Democratic nomination, but not today. It damn near broke my heart because I would LOVE to see a woman President, but not this one.
