Ooops, it's now Administrative Professionals Day. Whatever. ;)
Regardless of what it's called, I received one of the nicest surprises I've ever gotten: at the end of the day, the Clinic Director (who is, and always has been, an incredibly nice, hard-working, sweet person) and all the clinicians who work on Wednesday gathered about my desk and presented me with a gorgeous pot of red tulips and a marvelously touching card full of little notes about my patience, hard work, and indispensability to the clinic. I was *glowing* when I left, and have decided to replant the bulbs this fall.
I'm also making sure that a copy of the card goes into my personnel file. I think we all know why.
