Twelve days, and counting:
To do:
1.Finish revisions. Done, except for final proofreading.
2. Choose, print, and have illustrations made into transparencies. In progress.
3.Send to beta readers (waves at
orphandani,
xrian, and [Unknown site tag]). Done.
4. Start packing list.
5. Set aside time to respond to readers' comments.
6. Send final presentation copy to National Gallery for their files on the Cimabue Madonna.
7. Create "script," complete with illustration cues.
8.Time it. Too long, damn it, by about two pages.
9.Cut it. Done.
10. Pack.
11.Make reservation at long-term parking in Connecticut. Done. Roncari Express is the most expensive, but I agree with
varianor: they're very close to the airport and their service is excellent. I'm using the valet parking because I'll be getting in late and don't like the idea of trotting around a self-park lot by myself in the dark. The 15% off coupon doesn't hurt, either.
12. Take time to collapse in a heap *before* I leave so I'll be somewhat coherent....
