After an uneventful plane flight and my rental car being rear-ended by a polite young woman who was about 20. I've reported it, will call the Kent County Sheriff on Monday with my insurance information, and let the insurance companies duke it out.

God willing, this gets the bad luck out of the way for the weekend...and varianor, if you have any advice, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance!


Also found *wonderful* new source of information/images: ARTstor. It's an imaging service available at college libraries, and you can zoom in to paintings in extreme detail. Fabulous stuff, highly recommended!

Really? Yike. I read your journal every day. Please tell your legions of fans to stop trying to prevent the universe from ending by preventing you from giving this paper. You're an heiress aren't you?

Very briefly:

1. Did you report to police? (Sherrif, whatever, Monday, check.)
2. Did you report to rental company? (Does "reported it" qualify?)
3. Did you get name, address, license, etc and is she insured? (Hmm. Seems like 1 of 4 is already set.
4. Are you okay?
5. For the love of God Montressor, did you get to present your paper?
