The following arrived in the mail:
A gift copy of Medieval Clothing and Textiles 4, which will be given to Una this weekend.
A book on early patchworker Phillipe de Vignuelles, tailor of Metz, who boasted in 1507 that he had made a 9,000 piece patchwork wallhanging of bias-cut wool.
The 1547 inventory of Henry VIII, which I intend to read until the spine disintegrates.
Life is good.
