Finally got the grade for the Course from Heck. I received an A, which IMHO I should *not* have gotten because I turned in so many assignments late and did not know what I was doing doing about 90% of the time.

I don't get it. OTOH, I'm certainly not going to turn it down since I've never worked harder in my life....

Good grades are always good news.

Prof may have adjusted a little for your working full-time. I had to chuckle at the not knowing what you were doing part -- I had an art class like that, for which I received an A. I still don't understand a lot of what I was doing in that class....

How about just writing "I got an A" in huge letters? ;)

Congrats.

Also, got an A+ on the spring course. So far, so good!

Understand that I know nothing about grad school and I'm sure that instructors vary greatly with what they expect, but maybe at that level, they can afford to be a bit more lenient with dates due than what they have to demand from undergrads. Maybe as long as they are satisfied with the progress being made in a reasonable amount of time. And I'm sure that if the instructor thought you really didn't know what you were doing then you wouldn't get close to that A. I am HAPPY for you!!

I would second this. In my experience, grad school grades were rarely anything but As and Bs, and the deadlines were rarely as set in stone as what you experienced in undergrad and before. What matters more is the quality of the completed assignments.
