Illness update

Went to work, was basically fine, came home, took a bath, and then had chills and fever until I took some Dayquil. I now feel considerably better, but I'm going to take it very easy at work tomorrow.

In other news, no particular order:

- the hamster that had been living in the CEO's office for the last couple of weeks has gone home. We will miss him, and all the jokes about him becoming our new corporate mascot.

- Friday is the company "picnic," which is actually a catered affair at the CEO's house. The menu will include various grilled things, include lobsters caught for us that morning by the brother of one of our employees; brother is, believe it or not, a Cape Ann fisherman who will be bringing us the contents of his traps, plus freshly raked clams. I've never cared for lobster but these will be so fresh that I may well have a bite or two to see if this changes my mind....

OMG fresh lobster! Try to get a piece of the tail (no pun intended!). It's so much better tasting than the claw. JMHO
