Rupert Murdoch's son James decries the BBC for being "Orwellian" and detrimental to press freedom by being state backed. Poor fellow! Clearly his company cannot compete with the Beeb - they own so few news outlets!

My heart bleeds for them.

Your LJ seems to have turned on the "automatically label as Adult Content" option when you weren't looking.... or is it deliberate? The last two posts have both featured it and neither seems particularly risqué to me.;)

Yes, poor James! A dork with entitlement issues, which irritates me in someone whose father owns far too much of this country he is no longer a citizen of. I read about that speech when reported on the ABC (Oz media) precisely because I wanted to find out where he'd put his big feet this time, though I decline to be embarrassed by him any longer. I would be surprised if he had any principles, even situational ethics, or any perspective save monetary.
