Florida Marine reservist attacks Greek Orthodox priest with a tire iron for asking for directions. The reservist, who evidently has never seen combat, also claimed that the priest yelled "Allahu Akbar!" and made a pass at him.

Racism, religious bigotry, and homophobia. Niiice. I wonder how long it will take before the Marines toss him out on his overdeveloped ass for bringing dishonor to the uniform?

My first reaction is one of horror, and the desire to disbelieve that someone could be so stupid, despite many years evidence to the contrary.

Then I find myself feeling guiltily glad. Not glad that it happened. I truly wish that poor priest never had to endure the pain of someone else's stupidity. But glad that if that lunkhead was going to screw up, that he screwed up to such a degree that there's just no way out for him.

I'm angry at the guy, but I also couldn't help laughing at the stupidity of his defense. I certainly hope no jury has enough stupid people that they won't know those words weren't gonna be coming from a Greek Orthodox priest's mouth.

Then europe went out to beat the Saracins, but on their way east they gave the Jews and Orthodox Christians a firm beating too.

with as crown in the jewel, the complete massacre of all muslins, jews and christians living in Jerusalem.
but then again, it's much too much asked for the average western dimbrain to distinguish foreigners from foreigners ( even when those are living longer in the neighbourhood then token dimbrain himself.
