Miep Gies, who hid the Frank family and saved Anne Frank's diary for posterity, has died at the age of 100.

I heard a piece on NPR this AM about her. I especially liked that she insisted that she was just an ordinary person, fearing that if people thought she was extraordinary, they would think that they, as ordinary folks, could not accomplish small miracles as she did.
