I appear to have chipped off a sliver from a porcelain crown. Doesn't hurt, but I am *so* not happy about this....

Depending upon where it is/how deep it is, don't despair. I chipped a porclain crown 15 years ago and it's still going strong, no need for repairs or anything. In fact, about 5 years afterwards, a new dentist just ground down the edge a bit and voila, no problems. *crosses fingers that you're lucky too*

I'll call my dentist on Monday just in case...but there's no pain, so we'll see. *crosses fingers*
