Peeps

The Easter peeps have been sacrificed in accordance with the antick rites first revealed in 1984, when Ayatollah Peep was tried for gnosticism, heresy, simony, and divers sins upon the back porch of my residence in Malden. They have been torn into tiny shreds and chucked off the deck, shoved feet first into the Insinkerator and churned into an amorphous mass, and microwaved until charred, then thrown into the backyard.

All is as it should be.
