Dr. Laura Schlessinger, exercise physiologist masquerading as a psychologist, is retiring at the end of the year after using racial epithets and spewing racial stereotypes at a listener on her show.

Of course she's blaming the "liberal media" for her rudeness, antediluvian attitudes, and racism, but did anyone expect otherwise?

I believe Amanda Marcotte of Pandangon summed it up well when she indicated the only people who are seriously bothered by a double standard that allows black people to use the N word and not let white people do so without being called racists, are the ones who really, really want to use it to say racist things.
