I've been feeling sickish for the last couple of days. I've drunk plenty of fluids, taken cold meds, and dutifully gone into work, and thought that I was fending it off.
Until about ten minutes ago, when I began sneezing, my sinuses seized up, and I started to cough. Looks like that most dreaded of fannish diseases, con crud, has won out over my immune system. God only knows if I'm going to make it in to work tomorrow, but I'm going to try, if only because there's junk I don't trust anyone else to do.
*blech*
To make my joy complete, my left shoulder has been giving me grief ever since the big snow last Wednesday. I felt fine while shoveling, but it's been aching and stiff since Thursday, especially when I need to grab something (like the telephone) with my left hand, or reach for something on a shelf above my head. Most alarming of all is the distinct popping sensation that comes and goes, most often when I move too abruptly.
I really hope I didn't tear something. That is the last thing I need.
