Someone unclear on the concept

A person on the local Freecycle list would like a hot tub for an elderly relative...and then, when her relative no longer needs it, she plans to raise ducks in it.

You read that right. She wants to raise ducks in a hot tub.

I assume she means to leave the heat off except in winter. Still, it's a hell of a waste to use a hot tub as a duck pond. Doesn't the person think of allowing someone else's elderly relative to have a turn?
