The same people who tried to set me up with the little female just called and said that an unneutered 6 month old male cat showed up in their neighborhood. They offered to bring him out in a scrubbed-down carrier....
And I said no. He might well be someone's cat out on patrol, or he could have health issues that we don't know about. Add in that I don't want Diamond to be that outnumbered (3-1!), AND I'm getting Alec the pretty yellow boy in a couple of weeks, and there's no way I could take this one on such short notice.
I did tell Geoff that *if* this cat continues to hang out in the neighborhood, and *if* he still need a home in a couple of weeks, I might be interested. But not without seeing pictures, and not on a day when I have to go into work for most of the late morning/early afternoon.
*sigh*
Poor guy, I hope he finds a home or already has one....
