Gil is livin' large in my downstairs bathroom, much to the dismay of Diamond and Malfoy (they can smell him, and Malfoy in particular is NOT happy that there's a third cat in the house). He purrs up a storm, loves to be held, and enjoys sleeping on a cat perch I picked up last summer when someone left it on the curb after an estate sale. He also flexes his toes and air kneads like no one's business.
I've made an appointment with the vet for his final distemper shot on Thursday, at which time he'll also get an FIV test since he was found outside. I'm a little concerned because he seems to be somewhat constipated, but he's eating and drinking just fine, and has plenty of energy, so I figure it's probably just nerves.
Other than that, all is copacetic. He's a terrific cat.
