Gil just let me clip all of his front claws, including his dewclaws. First time I've ever had a cat that didn't mind.

My cat lets me get away with that if she's in the right mood...I've also got to where I can do it quickly, and thus not stretch her goodwill.

That's great! Snape doesn't mind too much either. She gets a little squirmy after a while, sometimes I have to do one paw then let her go and do the next one a bit later. But I'm amazed how well she tolerates it.

Wow. I AM impressed. Celeborn will not let me touch his paws with a nail trimmer at all. In fact, the last time they were trimmed was when the vet had sedated him for his ear. We were going to try once last trim but he went all ninja claws and teeth so all of us left him alone!

Malfoy and Diamond freak when I try, even though I *must* clip the claws on Malfoy's extra toes to avoid having them grow into his paw pads. Gil just sort of shrugged.
