I went to the doctor today for a checkup, and with the exception of slightly elevated LDL cholesterol, I'm actually in pretty good shape. Overall cholesterol is down, thyroid is fine, liver is fine, bone density is fine, blood calcium is fine, blood pressure and pulse right are fine...even my baseline EKG was "terrific" in the doctor's words.
She wants me to see her practice's dietician to see about dietary modifications to help with the LDL levels, but otherwise I'm good to go. Looks like the Planet Fitness membership is paying off!
