This really sucks

My temporary crown broke last night *while I was asleep*. I woke up just after it had happened.

What do I do now? I'll call my dentist as soon as he's open, but I'm not sure if I even should try to fix it myself...

He slotted me in for an appointment on Friday morning. I've been advised to "chew carefully" for a few days and otherwise not push it, but fortunately the permanent crown arrived from the lab and I will be all set by the weekend.

*sags in relief*

At least I don't have to try to fix the temp with Superglue and Poligrip....

Ear worm time

There was a semi-instrumental piece about ten years ago with heavy synthesizers, a sort of ambient music feel, and a male voice occasionally saying something that sounded like "Hey - hey - hey - woa-ah." Does anyone know what this is? It's driving me nuts, not knowing the group....

Dental observation

Having a missing tooth feels very, very weird. Alas, I am unable either to whistle or poke the tip of my tongue through the gap.....
