Explanation on Fred Phelps

First, I was being sarcastic about Fred Phelps...he's a dreadful person and I wish he and his appalling family would stay far, far away from New England.

Second, for those who don't know about him....

Here. I would direct people to his web site but it's so full of hate, and in such poor taste, that I refuse to give him any site traffic.

The most ironic thing that has happened to me this year

Remember my epic war with my doctor's office? How they kept dunning me for a bill I'd already paid, and only backed down when I made a special trip to the bank to get a screenshot of the transaction from my checking account?

Well.

Turns out that not only did I paid off the no-show fee, I paid it twice.

That's right. I got a full refund in the mail yesterday, along with a form letter apologizing for over-billing me in the first place.

....

I've decided to buy something completely frivolous with this unexpected bounty. Suggestions, anyone?
