Jun. 1st, 2011 05:28 pmOne romance worth reading, that is. I actually downloaded a sample that didn't make me cringe at the writing, the characters, or the material culture of the historical setting.
Also, I downloaded an early Georgette Heyer for the enormous price of $.99. So far it reads like The Scarlet Pimpernel and its sequels, which is good since I really like that series.
Still not going to end up devouring romances the way I glom onto other genre fiction, but it's nice to know that I'm not completely hopeless at being a girl...:)
