This morning I saw a peaceful protest

The first couple dozen protesters from Occupy Northampton had taken their place in front of Bank of America on Main Street in downtown Northampton when I drove past on my way to work. I honked and gave them a thumbs-up, and got several cheery waves in return. It was cold morning, too, since last night was the first frost of the season, and I didn't envy them standing out there holding signs.

God bless them, and all the others who are finally calling out the banks and the giant corporations for their greed.
