Continuing our ongoing series of delted Avengers scenes...

It's pretty clear why the alternate opening didn't make it - it's slow, and adds nothing except foreshadowing that Maria Hill is going to be trouble in the future. But this...oh man. I can see why they cut it since the tone is so achingly sad, but wow does it set up a couple of later scenes and character interactions
