I want to thank everyone for their support. I slept pretty well last night, much to my surprise, and am looking forward to meeting with my union rep on Friday. I'm under no illusion that I'll ultimately save my job (nor do I especially want to at this point - that meeting sealed it for me), but I want to prolong it until I find something else. I applied for a job last night on-line and have three prospects in mind, plus the interview on Saturday, so we shall see.

I'd missed your earlier post - just went to read it. Unbelievable. You're much better off out of that place, definitely, but yes, hold onto the job till you get something else.

That's just exactly what I was going to say, so, um, ditto! with a side order of agreeing with other posters that your dealings with those jerks will make a big difference to whoever they hire next, so now's a good time to get your stubborn on for other people's sake as well as your own.

So !#$@!$!@# glad Pennsic is only about six weeks away. Either it'll be a nice long rest that shows them just how badly they need me, or it'll be a great way to relax and rest up for a new job.
