Are tiny, sweet, and blissfully good.

I have a bowl of them.

Life is good.

Even better - I queried Piecework about a quilted clothing article for next spring. They're very interested, so I'll be working on that after Pennsic.

And better yet - I've been asked to write an article about the content of Henry VIII's quilt collection for Blanket Statements, the newsletter of the American Quilt Studies Group.

Like I said. Life is good.

HUZZAH! Yay for Piecework, they are my favorite of the crafty magazines. And, I'd long thought that you should submit some articles for them. (But you already do so much and was loathe to push it) That Henry VIII quilt collection could also make a great article for Piecework.

Their quilt issue in 2008 is devoted to clothing only, I'm afraid. There's always next year!

I will indeed!

And speaking of articles...I just turned in my second article to Pieces of Time, the magazine of the Iowa Quilt Studies Group. The article is on the Italian quilt industry of the Middle Ages. My editor liked it so much that what was supposed to be a three article series indefinitely, so look for more!
