Or, by this time in 24 hours I'll be home and (hopefully) going straight to bed after spending 45 minutes having magnets take pictures of my brain.

*sigh*

{{hugs}} You'll be fine! MRI's are less than fun if you're claustrophobic, but I've had a bunch and survived.

Eek! Good luck...I know it's painless, but it could be scary, so *hugs* in advance.

You know, I know this is awful and scary, but ... it's kind of cool to think about the fact that we can do this now. I'd rather have this happen, so we can find out what's wrong, if anything, and *fix* it.

*hugs you*

I had two last year, painless...but would have been nasty if I'd opened my eyes. I don't like tight spaces, and this is one of them.
Get the headphones tuned to music you like, it's a loud machine.
Close your eyes and concentrate on the music. You'll be fine.

Hugs to you!

I've never had one, but I know plenty of people who have.
It's nothing to worry about really, although if you're not OK with confined spaces it's not so much fun. Also, be forewarned that you'll have to stay still. So it's much better NOT to get worked up over it.
Oh, and make sure you ah...use the facilities....before they start.
You'll be fine. Seriously, there are WAY scarier things than an MRI.

I hope you had fun in the loud tunnel. I almost fell asleep during the one for my shoulder (probably because I was awake all night worrying about it) They can tell a lot of information that can't be learned any other way. I hope yours tells you what you need to know.
