Of "non-approved" religious books, including the works of giants such as Karl Barth and Reinhold Niebuhr. Also, liberal forms of religion are not being represented (about 90% of American Jews are Reform, for instance) and Catholic spiritual classics are being dumped in favor of works that the faculty at Notre Dame has never heard of.

I'd hate to think of the government laying waste to the prison libraries so Dominionists and other evangelicals will have an easier time converting the inmates, but....

In fairness, it may be overstating it to give credit for this to the Dominionists. Nevertheless, it's appalling.

And if they're trying to weed out books that encourage violence, then why include Bonhoeffer? He did try to blow up his country's leader. Granted, the guy was named "Hitler"....
