Which fills me with unholy glee.
Normally I don't rejoice in others' misfortunes, but Scaife has done such damage to this country through his financing of the Arkansas Project, right-wing media, and his toy newspaper in Pittsburgh* that the idea of him being stupid enough to marry without a pre-nup, and then suffer the consequences, is rather satisfying. "Cast thy bread upon the waters, and it shall come back to thee" seems to be applying in a way Scaife never intended.
*The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review was started by Scaife as an alternative voice to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette after the old Pittsburgh Press folded in the early 1980s. The Trib has never had a big circulation, and there are estimates that Scaife spends about $40 million a year keeping it afloat because so few people buy or advertise in it. The funeral director who handled Betty's service told me not to place a death notice in the Trib because so people read it...and if that isn't damning, I don't know what is....
