Extremely disturbing news

An anti-gay activist connected to a West Coast-based hate group is moving to Springfield, Massachusetts. I lived in Springfield for nine years and still go to church there, and my ashes will someday be committed at the Memorial Garden on the church property. I am horrified by this news, and just e-mailed the head of the Governing Board, an old and dear friend, so the congregation will be aware of what's coming.

First a billboard comparing a local state rep to Judas because he voted against the anti-gay marriage amendment. Now this. What's next, James Dobson sending missionaries?

The scariest thing about people like that is that they genuinely believe that what they're doing isn't hate.
