Nope, it's been restored and can be found by clicking "permanent exhibition" and then "Hungarian-Angevin tapestry." It's not strictly a tapestry, but what the hey....

OMG - what's the odds of a side trip to Hungary when you go over to Italy next summer?!?

You'd already be over there...if it's at all possible, you have to try to see this while you're so close!

Alas, I'll be in Italy next month, and there's not a chance in hell I can get to Budapest...:( I'll try to get pictures from the museum, though.

Drat! (Why did I have it my head you were going next summer? *shakes head* Brain-fart, I guess.)

I wish I had a chunk of money-and-time to send you, honey, so you could get there on this trip...*sigh* Eurail looks to cost about $400 for a pass that would get you from Italy through Solvenia to Hungary and back again, but it's 13 hours one way and would eat up a block of time you probably don't have available. :-(

Well - another time, then. One archaeological expedition at a time. ;-)
