I just received an offer to apply for a job with William Morris. In CALIFORNIA. How they got my resume I have no idea, and why they think I'd like to move from rural New England to Los Angeles for a job as a glorified secretary is beyond me.

Wow, there may be a rift in the time/space continuum...I wonder if they'd invite you to Red House? Or if the job really entails embroidering the latest tapestry with Jane.

Could you get Burne-Jones' autograph for me?

I wouldn't bother, though. I bet you'd get pretty sick of acanthus leaves relatively soon.

I'll do my best to get the autographs, although I *think* Mr. Morris is currently doing his best to accommodate his wife's great and good friendship with Dante Gabriel Rossetti.....

Maybe I can design a line of authentically patterned medieval quilts to go with the tapestries and the Kelmscott Chaucer?
