A few years ago, WB asked us at HPEF to stop using Quidditch as the name for the sport we were organizing at the cons, and we told them then that we weren't using it as a trademark but as a descriptive term - and they haven't asked again since.
If they had a licensed "RP" of Muggle Quidditch I am *sure* people would buy it and play it, especially if it led to a league. But for pickup games, it's not a trademark at this point, IMHO and without actually giving legal advice.
Actually, we tried. We had a set of rules and we meant to make it a cooperative event between SSFFS and the Hell's Belles but unfortunately things just (pardon the phrase) never got off the ground.
