Too bad they didn't do their research and find out that I bought Sapphy used. And her purchase price did not include an extended warranty.

*grumbles about cold calling robots*

We got several of these calls. Morons. We got a fantastic warranty when we bought the Vibe.

It was certainly more amusing than the the angry old man with a strong Yiddish accent who called last year demanding that I pay my "debt" to Providian. When I informed him that I didn't have a Providian account, he demanded my Social Security number, then threatened my credit, so I hung up.

The same company called the next night, and this time I got a young woman. When she tried the same thing, I informed her that a) I'd just run my credit report and saw nothing about Providian, b) I did not now, never had, and never would have a Providian account, and c), if her company ever called me again, I was contacting my lawyer and the local police.

I've been getting postcards in the mail from the local Hyundai dealer telling me now's a good time to use my car as a trade-in-- "and do it NOW before the warranty expires"! What warranty? I bought my car from a little used car lot that definitely didn't offer any kind of a warranty! Oh well. I guess postcards are less intrusive than robots calling!! :)

I love those calls, particularly the ones that tell me "This is your second notice about the warranty on your car." I'd be all worried I suspect.....If I owned a car (yes, there's a major eyeroll, when I get those calls)
