1. What would you do if you had "world enough and time?" that is, enough money to support doing whatever you like, and the time to do it in.
Three things:
a. Spend a year or two at the Warburg Institute studying the Renaissance.
b. Bribe/finagle/somehow make my way into the good graces of the librarians at the Bibliotheque National in Paris, and produce the first modern edition of The Noble Art of the Quilt (1532).
b. Travel, as much as I could.
2. Excluding anything in the SCA time period, are there any *other* centuries that fascinate you or that you'd like to learn more about?
Several choices, including 1930's Germany (my great-aunt Lena and her husband almost decided to extend their summer vacation visiting relatives in Karlsruhe past August 31st, and I believe were still at sea when Hitler invaded Poland); 17th century England; Revolutionary America; the 1960's, which I barely remember.
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you be?
Oh God...as much as I love Massachusetts, if I could live anywhere it would be a toss up between Wales and Tuscany.
4. What person from history would you most like to meet?
Elizabeth I of England.
5. What's your favorite type of handwork/needlework to actually *do*, rather than study about?
Probably knitting at this point, especially usually novelty fibers. It's easy, doesn't require much thought, and the resulting scarves are silly, glittery fun.

Now... I'll ask the questions...
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me" or something of an equally pithy nature.
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a personal nature... or not so personal.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them 5 questions.
