Shot herself in the knee? OW! I'll bet her "friend" in the trailer (whose trailer?) isn't speaking to her these days.

This makes me think of Catch-22 (wasn't it?) with one of the shoulders shooting mice in the tent with dum-dum bullets.

btw, does the story tell she actually hit some mice?
Or did she stop after missing the "mice" in her friends pants?
