ellid | Pennsic Panic has commenced

This morning I ironed several gowns, including all my Roman stuff for the House Runnymede Dinner, and began packing. The rest of my Pennsic wardrobe needs to be washed and ironed, and will go in the one plastic tub I'm bringing this year. Said tub is big enough for everything except my bedding, the tent, and the camp bed. Satisfactory.

Also, now have tent and new camp bed, courtesy of Brigida selling me an extra tent, and a local tag sale offering a folding metal bed and mattress for the immense price of $10. It may take a few tries before the bedframe fits in Sapphy, but if it doesn't, I'll just bring the mattress. Either way, it should all work out pretty well.

Right now I'm hoping to leave around 10-11:00 a.m. on August 1st and crash with

alphasarah on Friday night. I'll probably hit Pennsic no later than 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, which gives me plenty of time to set up and settle in before lunch. Laurel and Maunche meetings are Sunday afternoon, the A&S exhibition is on Tuesday, and East Kingdom court is Thursday evening. I'm going to e-mail Denise to see if she's interested in having lunch on Thursday in Pittsburgh, and also see about visiting my parents' graves. Saturday is driving home so I can recuperate on Sunday....
