Accomplished:
1. New driver's license. This is a good thing since my old one would have expired while I was at Pennsic, but the picture makes me look like my name is Maggie "Stone Fist" McCoy and I make my living as a spine cracker for the Mob. Then again, my old license picture made me look like I was 70 years old and mentally retarded, so this is a marginal improvement.
2. Contacted otolaryngologist to schedule yearly head check to see if my lil' friend has remained stable or has grown. The hospital where it's been done will contact me directly to set up a time and date. I'm aiming for sometime after Pennsic.
3. Obtained directions to flooring place to arrange for new flooring. My contractor gave me a price range. I'll be going there either this afternoon or Saturday morning (more likely the latter).
4. Made appointment for oil change for Sapphy this afternoon.
To do:
1. Go to financial planner to start the process of securing my future.
2. Actually *get* the bloody oil change.
3. Possibly, if I have time, pick out carpet. This means I have to pick out something of decent quality that a) has a built-in stain blocker, b) won't look atrocious with my dark red Oriental rug, and c) won't instantly show every single hair that Malfoy sheds. This should be extremely amusing, but it's either that or shell out the bread to have the Cosmic Horror that is my current dark green shag cleaned, and I'm not sure there's enough money in the world for *that*.
