Note to self: never, ever do this again

By "this" I mean replace the carpet and the kitchen flooring. I have a metric bleepload more books than I ever dreamed I did, plus more STUFF than I realized. It's almost all packed and ready for the movers to come remove it from the house (they'll be bringing it back on the 26th), but oh God in heaven, packing it all - !

I keep telling myself that by this time next week the place will look completely different, and much better, but right now I just want to chuck everything into the trash...
