Update...

I have now cleaned the litterboxes and mopped the bathroom floor. In doing so, I inhaled about a pound of dust.

*cough hack wheeze*

Cats had better appreciate it....

Have you tried Essentials cat litter put out by Arm and Hammer? It's so much better than the other litters in my opinion (and my kitties) It's made from ground corn cobs, so no dust, it's more light weight than the clay litters, and it has a sweet corny smell to it.
Much easier to deal with in all respects as far as I'm concerned. I get it at Target.

Second that! It's great litter and I highly recommend it!!!

Oh dear, wear a mask or bandana? That stuff isn't healthy to inhale, between any scented stuff you may have in it, and that fact that it's cat litter. Although we don't seem to have a dust issue since we switched to Swheat Scoop. And no unfortunately Peredur says the Dave's Soda & PFC version of it isn't good enough -- although I tend to agree that it isn't as nice either.

So another pound in addition to the five we all inhaled at Pennsic?
