The good -

First day at new job went really well. Turns out that there are indeed several SF/fantasy/gaming types there, which is officially a good thing. It's only been a day, but so far, so good.



The peculiar -

I just read an e-mail from someone I've never heard of claiming that I had called his/her work "horrible" on a quilting website, and that I should be ashamed of myself because s/he likes *my* work. I do not recall ever calling someone else's work "horrible" in print, have no web site of my own, and have written material up at only a handful of quilt history sites. Where this is coming from I have no idea, but I'm seriously confused.

Re. the other weirdness, perhaps ask the person to provide a link to the "horrible" post? Perhaps s/he's got you confused with someone else.

Thanks! And alas, no - it's an extremely thin-skinned "artist" who took exception to a remark I made on a *mailing list* almost a year ago.
