ellid | Excellent things

Highlights of the past week:

- Had dinner Tuesday at a superb Amherst restaurant, Tabella, with an old professor. She's now writing and lecturing on clothing and accessories, and we spent three wonderful hours swapping stories and having a wonderful time.

- A productive Needleworkers' meeting on Friday that mapped out several projects for the next year or so, including a new tabard for the Valley Pursuivant. Diamond and Malfoy both came out to observe the proceedings, with Malfoy positively flirting with

mizpagan.

- A quiet and lovely Saturday that began with getting my laundry out of the way for the week and ended with me having my alumnae borrowing card reactivated at Smith.

- Sunday shopping at Osgood's to acquire the materials for said tabard, having my mother's little Featherweight serviced and returned to working order, and a lovely Concentus rehearsal here at the Shack. Roomie heard us doing "Sicut Cervus" and said we sounded ethereally beautiful. :D

Now, if only my bad knee would stop aching...;)
